The trick to make smooth egg is to temper the egg with boiled water (or broth). Stir constantly so the egg doesn't curdle.

I've been tearing my hair out recently wondering what's been happening to EXIF data too. Your post prompted me to finally try to find out. I've made a few replies to your post at MUDs and created another at User Support.
